Tiene varios tipos de servicios, para redes sociales (facebook, twitter, hi5, myspace) soporte de DB, ancho de banda, hospedajes, datos.
Para los bancos, DB, transferencia, espacio.
Foros, DB, espacio, transferencia.
Flickr, DB, espacio, transferencia.
Ejemplo:
- Tenemos nuestros datos en Gmail.
Cuado te conectas en tu país, este se enlaza al centro de datos mas cercano ó al centro de datos con menos carga (esto era antes), ahora lo que hace es generar con tu login (usuario) con software y aplicaciones en código varios enlaces hacia tus datos en la nube, tal es así que tienes un sin-número de oportunidades y enlaces hacia tus datos.
- En Flickr tu te enlazas y haces una búsqueda de una foto, este crea una instancia (código de servidor) que llama a su nube (en este caso el servicio le brinda yahoo) y en unos nanosegundos tienes tus fotos.
- En Slideshare tiene una gran carga de datos enviados en pdf, ppt, doc. Este contrató el servicio de Softlayer para balancear su carga de petición de datos y ancho de banda.
- Twitter tiene una millones de usurarios que se conectan al día, pero todos en una sola vez en horas pico, entonces cada usuario al ingresar hace un pedido (request) de sus datos al servicio de Twitter, allí mediante instancias genera mas DB, mas ancho de banda y mas espacio. Como lo hace… utiliza el servicio de Amazon Web Services (cuando ingreses fíjate al pie de tu explorador, salen una líneas con enlaces, por lo general sale sn1.amazonaws.com, este es un servidor cloud de Amazon).
