La ciencia avala el poder terapéutico del contacto humano y que es algo fundamental para el desarrollo de los bebés como seres sanos integralmente.
La ciencia y el estudio del contacto humano demuestran su eficacia terapéutica en un estudio realizado por Moore ER, Anderson GC, Bergman N para la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) cuyo estudio podemos leer completo aquí.
Esta investigación consistió en el estudio de 1925 casos en el que se realizaron 30 pruebas a estos participantes. En él se desprendió lo siguiente:
Se observaron efectos positivos muy significativos del contacto temprano piel a piel en la lactancia desde uno a tres meses después del nacimiento y en la duración de la alimentación del pecho. Con el contacto temprano directo se comprobó una cierta mejora con respecto al amor y el contacto afectivo materno durante ese periodo. Los neonatos que se ponían en contacto físico lloraron durante menos tiempo. Los neonatos prematuros tardíos presentaron mejor estabilidad cardiorrespiratoria con el contacto temprano piel a piel.
Estos datos demuestran la eficacia de una relación sana en la que las muestras de amor por contacto físico a través de abrazos caricias y besos son realmente terapéuticos y demuestran lo que se ha dicho de la abrazoterapia.
Cuántas veces habremos oído decir, o no los han dicho cuando somos padres, esta frase. Pues según la OMS es interesante para el desarrollo afectivo y físico del bebe estar en contacto con los padres, en especial con la madre . Y por eso recomienda que se tenga al bebe en brazos el mayor tiempo posible, lo cual también es beneficioso para lo que se considera el triángulo de la salud, es decir la física, la mental y la emocional.
Para todos aquellos que la abrazoterapia era una excentricidad más de la New Age o “engaña bobos” rentable para algunos charlatanes, podrán ver que realmente el contacto humano, y sobretodo el de los seres queridos, realmente tiene un efecto sobre la salud humana independientemente de que seamos bebes, adultos o ancianos.
Es genial poder disfrutar de un taller de abrazoterapia. No obstante desconfiemos de terapeutas o promesas milagrosas que curan hasta el cáncer con medio abrazo, si usted me entiende amigo lector. Es una herramienta maravillosa en manos de todos y gratis ¡disfrútenla!
Estoy totalmente de acuerdo el abrazo eleva el estado de ánimo, y si bien no curara el cancer, como bien lo explicas, ayuda, ya que todo lo que eleva el estado de ánimo, eleva endorfinas, y quien esta mejor, tiene más fuerza para pelear.
