General Motors inicia un nuevo sistema para vender autos a través de eBay, con lo cual muchos de los distribuidores del Estado de California permitirán que los clientes potenciales les regateen el precio de los nuevos autos y camiones.
Casi 250 distribuidores californianos venderán modelos Pontiac, Chevrolet, GMC y Buick, a través de eBay Inc. y ebay Motors hasta el 8 de septiembre.
La prueba forma parte de la reestructuración de General Motors Co., por vender autos por medio de eBay a través de las páginas gm.ebay.com y chevy.ebay.com, donde se podrá ver los modelos y sistemas de compra y los compradores podrán preguntar precios, regatear u ofrecer un precio especial de compra.
También se tendrá información de los modelos que entran en el plan de subvenciones del gobierno de Estados Unidos, y en cuánto toman su vehículo usado.
La firma trata así de utilizar los servicios de internet para que tenga más facilidades el comprador al adquirir sus vehículos. Esta prueba piloto, que se extenderá hasta el próximo 8 de septiembre, servirá a General Motors para probar este sistema de ventas y seguirlo usando si es aceptado por los clientes.
