Antigüamente, el comercio electrónico todavía estaba por madurar, y las empresas tenían cierto descontento con los resultados obtenido de su coparticipación los mercados electrónicos. Se tuvo que invertir en tecnología y readaptar sus procesos internos para poder llegar a beneficiarse plenamente de las ventajas de los intercambios electrónicos.
Otras empresas de comercio electrónico a puestan por estratégias marketing y tácticas de fidelización especialmente pensadas para internet. Son estratégias pensadas para el cliente on line. Las acciones de e-commerce que están dando resultados positivos son las que ofrecen un servicio gratuito de envío de la mercancía, atención inmediata y eficaz, ya sea por correo electrónico o a través del teléfono. Aunque es un mercadeo diferente las acciones de marketing online no deben ser aisladas entre sí, sino que deben englobarse en el mismo plan de marketing.
Quiero hacer referencia al término márketing pues cuando se traduce al español significa, ” mercadeo o mercadotécnia”. La primera definición fué hecha por un Inglés llamado Philip Kotler que dice: “El proceso social y administrativo por el cual los grupos e individuos satisfacen sus necesidades al crear e intercambiar bienes y servicios”. Hay que recordar que el término es anglosajón, pero éste ya es reconocido para El Diccionario de la Real Academia Española con tal “Marketing”. El diccionario anglosajón aconseja que se debería traducir “mercadotécnia”. Esta aclaración se debe a que el marketing involucra estrategias de mercado, de ventas, estudio de mercado, posicionamiento de mercado, etc. Frecuentemente se confunde este término con el de publicidad, siendo ésta última sólo una herramienta de la mercadotecnia.
El internet abre las puertas a las oportunidades de comercio internacional y cada día es más los cibernautas que quieren sacar provecho de lo que en un principio solo se beneficiaban las grandes empresas ahora, los ingresos de cualquiera pueden ser renumeradores para cada cibernaunta, y cada día hay nuevos emprendedores. En esta publicación no profundizaremos el cómo se fueron creando estas oportunidades, pero ya existen empresas dispuestas a enseñar a los nuevos emprendedores, haciendo que todo negocio entre empresas y los nuevos emprendedores y los clientes online se beneficien, pues son interéses compartidos.
Las empresas con un marketing pensado para el cliente online ha estendido sus fronteras para los nuevos emprendedores que quieren comenzar, o mejorar su comercio internacional.
